I Started a YouTube Channel!

Today is a very exciting day, because I finally faced my fears, took a risk, and did something that is very much outside of my comfort zone: I STARTED A YOUTUBE CHANNEL!

This is something I’ve been thinking about doing for a long time now, but every time I really thought about it, I got scared and decided against it. Finally something changed in me, and I started feeling more comfortable with the idea. I also started feeling like it was something I definitely wanted to do, as opposed to just a wild idea I had.

I’ve always enjoyed helping people and spreading positivity, which has been my main goal with this blog, and will be my main goal with my YouTube channel. I’d like YouTube to be an extension of my blog, where I can go more in depth about topics with you all. I’ve always loved writing, but there is something equally fun about talking to a camera and being able to express myself verbally.

So without further adieu, please enjoy my debut YouTube video below, all about facing your fears and taking risks in life!

Do any of you have YouTube channels? If so I would love to check them out! Leave a comment below with a link so we can be YouTube buddies. 🙂

Welcome to my blog! My name is Shelly, and I am a 20-something living in Austin, TX. I originally started this blog in 2014 during my semester abroad in Spain, and though I still enjoy writing about my travels, I mostly focus on lifestyle and wellness content. So if you are a 20-something who is looking for a blog you can relate to, this is it!

    1. Thank you! I used a site called Canva, it’s really simple to use and allows you to create images/graphics for things like YouTube videos, blog images, and social media posts. Congratulations on your new channel too! I just subscribed! If you could subscribe to my channel I would really appreciate it. 🙂
